Dear Prince Charles

His Lordship chased me round Le Chateau last night, through the rooms from floor to floor and snaking along the corridors. Heavens what a couple of scallywags you must be thinking, my what fun, only he was clutching a large roll of masking tape with a furious expression on his face, oooh er, not such fun !!

Eventually when he caught up with me, not until I'd led him a right merry dance I can tell you, he gave me one final warning. 'If you so much as think of publishing your story on David and Goliath' he spluttered, 'I shall....I shall cut your clothing allowance'. Is that below the belt or what ? 'And furthermore' he continued 'any talk of wealthy property developers riding roughshod over local people's wishes and that of the Parish Council, the County Council and the CPRE,(The Campaign to protect Rural England) I shall be obliged to take a firm stance.

'So that's no more talk lamenting the demise of small rural farms nor the rape and pillage of the countryside for personal gain then' ? I enquire demurely. He sighed deeply. 'If you feel that strongly about it' he said 'write to Prince Charles' Of course it goes without saying that should HRH be reading my humble blog, for I know he has one himself, please do feel free to get in touch with me, or anyone else that feels strongly about such matters.....

But enough of all this idle talk there's no peace for the wicked and I must concern myself with the task of producing more beautiful pictures for my website.

His Lordship caught me pushing through some succulent fresh spinach leaves for my 'girlies' at the bottom of the garden. 'Pictures for the website of Le Chateau'? he queried. I swung around guiltily and quickly snapped this one.

'No' I bellowed in a loud a voice as possible 'CONCERNING MYSELF WITH RURAL COUNTRY MATTERS !

Ignore the husband, I do. (Mine, obviously, not yours!) Sure HRH would approve of your campaigning spirit. You must publish your story.

Just flown quickly to your site to leave your angel card.... trying to focus on what I know....at 21.09 on 30/4 I picked 'Harmony'. The longer explanation is 'Listen to the highest rhythm of all the elements and bring them into concert with your essential nature. Conduct your life accordingly.' Faith x

What beautiful chairs - and sunshine! You really have to tell the D&G tale now - not fair otherwise.
