Property for Sale in Carcassonne

Well the summer whizzed by didn't it ? I've got brief glimpses to remember it by but by and large its a blur and before I know whats happening October is on the horizon.

His Lordship decided to give me another fright and somehow contracted acute pneumonia ending up in hospital terribly ill for eight days and has been in slow recovery since.  Life went 'on hold' all plans thrown in the air and when the chaos settled we took a good long hard look at life in general coming to the conclusion that the apartment must be put onto the property market.  So here we are, up for sale.

And in a nutshell ? fabulous newly renovated 4 bedroom apartment, 180sqm of living accommodation with a further 60sqm usable loft space bursting with original features in an important historical house in Carcassonne, right in the heart of the Bastide Saint Louis. re plumbed, re wired, tastefully decorated and ready to move into.

Well, nearly... just a little further tweaking.

So if there's anybody out there that fancies a slice of the South of France in a highly desirable and sought after building please do get in touch.

Back as soon as possible with some truly luscious pictures !!

I hope His Lordship is well on the road to recovery and not about to give you any more frights. Here's sending you every good wish for the next move.

Oh Sally, I'm so sorry for all your woes, life seems to be being particularly unfair to you. Glad HL is on the mend and how wonderful the house sounds. I await the pictures with baited breath.

Yes, tough stuff- but best wishes to his Lordship - and to you of course.

Sally, let me patch my comment on to those that appear above.

I wish you and HL all the best that the airwaves can carry eastward.

oh dear, life doesn't sound easy at present! You must have worked so hard to make this place beautiful. I hope His Lordship is fully recovered soon and that you find a more relaxing spot for your next move. Monsieur Mystère sends a purr your way!

Hopefully His Lordship is making a good recovery, you will have your hands full at the moment if you are selling the apartment too. Looking forward to the pics, and seeing where you move on to. Best wishes,
Posie

It is so hard to sell anything in France right now, but hopefully somewhere as lovely as your apartment will go quickly.

Sally, anything you touch turns into a jewel - some lucky person is going to reap the fruits of all your careful work. I can't see you and His Lordship waiting too long before starting on another fabulous project - as soon as he's back in fighting form you'll be stirring things up on another property. Best of luck!

So sorry to hear about HL and hope he is totally on the mend. The apartment sounds truly stunning, just a touch too far from North Wales! I am sure you will find another fascinating project just around the corner, as long as you don't get stuck painting cupboards!

Oh No! Best of luck with the sale, and the move. Where are you going next? Warmer climes for poor HL??? And I haven't even made it down to Carcassonne to meet you yet :( Bonne chance!!
